Mike Moore

Mike Moore, son of Bob Moore, started his career with the company in January 1964. Although he had grown up around the family business and knew it well, he started as a steel worker with the construction crews. “Learn it from the ground up, learn it right,” Bob told Mike, “and always finish the job in budget, on time!”

From 1966-1969 Mike served in the US Navy with the Seabees. During Mike’s early years with the company Bob Moore Construction made rapid improvements and substantially grew as a business. Mike, along with Bob and Phillip, worked to move the company to a new level of capabilities, perfecting the techniques for tilt-up construction that has become the preferred method for commercial buildings today.

In 1986, Mike Moore was named President of the company, then in 1997 was named Chief Executive Officer. In 2014, Mike transitioned to an advisory position to CEO Phillip Bell and President Ed McGuire, in his role as a partner of the company.
