David Seow

David Seow is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and the maritime sector. Currently serving as the Deputy Director at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, David oversees academic affairs and planning, alongside various education development strategies within the School of Engineering. David's roles also include Deputy Sector Lead for the SkillsFuture Offshore & Marine Engineering Sector, where initiatives for skills development and training are managed. David holds multiple academic qualifications, including a Master’s in Education from The University of Western Australia and a Bachelor’s in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from UCL. With a background that also includes leadership in the Republic of Singapore Navy and experience as an Associate Lecturer at Newcastle University, David has developed a well-rounded expertise in engineering education, workplace safety, and military leadership.
