Maria Cansignia

Maria Cansignia is an experienced professional in the fields of geotechnical and mining engineering. Currently serving as a Laboratory Technician at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute since June 2019, Maria has previously held positions including Industrial Engineer at the Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic, where research focused on the Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) process and the application of design programs such as SolidWorks and Abaqus. Additional experience includes a role as a Mining Engineer at GS Ingeniería Geofísica and a research initiation scholarship at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where Maria contributed to the construction of a mineral processing pilot plant. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Mining Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Energy and Mining Resource Engineering, both from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
