Roger M. Perlmutter

Dr. Perlmutter has served as a member of our Board of Directors since June 2021. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Eikon Therapeutics. From 2013 through 2020, he served as Executive Vice President, Merck & Co., and President, Merck Research Laboratories, where he supervised the discovery and development of numerous lifesaving medicines. Dr. Perlmutter has served as a director on numerous corporate boards in the U.S. and Europe. In addition to serving on the Board of NGM since June 2021, Dr. Perlmutter also currently serves on the Board of insitro, the Scientific Advisory Board of the CBC Group, and as a Science Partner at The Column Group. Before joining Merck, Dr. Perlmutter spent 12 years as Executive Vice President and head of R&D at Amgen, Inc. from January 2001 to February 2012.
