Monica Johnson

Monica Johnson is the Operating Partner & CFO at NGP Capital. Prior to joining NGP, Monica served as Chief Financial Officer at Kranz & Associates, CafePress.com, and ARC International. Monica began their career in 1991 at Hewlett-Packard where they held various financial positions over an eight-year span.

Monica Johnson has a MBA in Finance from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BA in Economics from University of California, Berkeley. Monica also has a certification from University of California, Berkeley - School of Law in Sustainable Capitalism & ESG.

Their manager is Paul Asel, Co-Founder & Managing Partner. They are on a team with Christian Noske - Partner, Sam Ahmed - VP, Marketing & Communications, and Bo Ilsoe - Managing Partner. Atte Honkasalo - VP, Data & Analytics, Neeta Shrotriya - Senior Accounting Manager report to Monica Johnson.
