Quang Phan

Quang Phan is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and consulting. Currently self-employed since January 2019 and serving as a consultant at Nguoi Viet Daily News, Inc. since 2010, Quang has led strategic initiatives to transition the organization from print to online and mobile markets. Previous roles include Director of System Engineering at Virtium LLC, Senior Principal Software Engineer at Western Digital, and Sr. Principal Engineer at Broadcom Inc., where management and development of embedded software for various technology products were key responsibilities. Quang’s early career spans significant positions at Princeton Graphic Systems, Phoenix Technologies, AST Research, Pertec Computer Corporation, and Douglas Aircraft Company, showcasing expertise in firmware development and system design across a range of industries. Quang holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and has pursued further education at UC Irvine.
