Steve Evans

Steve Evans has a wealth of work experience in the construction and building control industry. Steve started their career at North West Leicestershire DC in 1991 as a Principal Building Control Surveyor, and worked there for ten years. Steve then moved on to Wychavon District Council, where they served as Building Consultancy Manager from 2001 to 2005. After that, they joined Milton Keynes Council as the Chief Building Control Surveyor from 2005 to 2010. In 2007, they became the President of LABC, and then served as Chairman of the Board from 2008 to 2009. Steve has been with NHBC since 2010, starting as Building Control Manager, then progressing to Senior Area Technical Manager, and currently holding the position of Head of Technical Operations as of August 2019.

Steve Evans completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Building Surveying from De Montfort University in the years 1992 to 1995. Steve later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Birmingham City University, completing it from 2005 to 2007.
