John Ramirez is an accomplished executive chef with extensive experience in high-end dining establishments. Currently serving as the Executive Chef at Lafayette, part of the NoHo Hospitality Group, John oversees the operations of two restaurants and specializes in managing events for up to 1000 guests. Previous roles include Executive Sous Chef at Lafayette, where John worked under Michelin Star Chef Andrew Carmellini, and Executive Sous Chef/Banquet Chef at Bar Boulud, under Chef Daniel Boulud. John's culinary journey also encompasses positions at renowned restaurants across Europe and the United States, including Fiamma, Oceana, and Jean-Georges management, where a strong foundation in fine dining and classical French cuisine was developed. John holds a culinary degree from The Art Institutes and has a strong background in staff training, menu development, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
