Dan Piro

Dan Piro is the Director of Digital Asset Archive at the National Hockey League since January 2015, where responsibilities include deploying a live streaming platform, managing digital transformation projects, and leading the transition to digital content management for an extensive media archive. Prior experience includes roles as Digital Asset Manager at Georgia Power Company and Turner Broadcasting, and as Media Asset Librarian at Madison Square Garden. Early career experiences involve managing archive assets at World Wrestling Entertainment and various technical and production roles. Dan Piro holds a BA in Broadcasting, Telecommunications, and Mass Media from Temple University, earned between 1998 and 2002.
