Yianni Dimitrakopoulos

Yianni Dimitrakopoulos, MBA, is an experienced event manager currently employed at Stanford University since December 2024. With a diverse background in sports and event operations, Yianni has held various roles at San Jose Earthquakes Soccer since February 2022, including gameday media relations, visiting team liaison, and event operations assistant. Additionally, Yianni serves as the arena technical coordinator for the NHL since September 2023 and founded a venture in the Spanish Liga in January 2021. Previous experience includes positions as a sports statistician at Genius Sports, a photography specialist at Decathlon Sports Club, stadium operations with the San Francisco Giants, and player news analyst at RotoWire. Yianni's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Law and Crime from the University of Oregon, an MBA in Sports Business and Law from LALIGA BUSINESS SCHOOL, and additional studies in sports marketing at Northwestern University. Current educational pursuits are at the University of Pennsylvania.
