Lisa Dransfield

Lisa Dransfield has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Lisa began their career as a Production Assistant at the BBC in 1991 and worked their way up to become a Senior Broadcast Journalist, handling script writing, headline writing, and presenting news and documentaries. Lisa also served as a Broadcast Journalist and Producer at BBC Radio.

In 2005, Lisa worked as a Communications Consultant as a freelancer before joining the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2006. There, they worked as an Internal Communications Producer, managing client liaison, budget, and script writing for internal communication videos. Lisa also worked in the Internal Communications' Video Production Unit.

Lisa then moved on to become the External Relations Manager at the Scottish Business in the Community from 2007 to 2009. Their responsibilities included creating and implementing a communications strategy that enhanced stakeholder relations, membership contact, and media coverage. Lisa organized events such as the AGM and Annual Awards Dinner and worked with prestigious guests such as HRH The Prince of Wales and the First Minister of Scotland.

From 2009 to 2010, Lisa was the Head of Communications & Marketing at Essential Edinburgh. In this role, they managed both strategic and operational aspects of communications, marketing, events, and database management. Lisa was responsible for overseeing external agencies, budgeting, and reporting to the Board.

During 2010 and 2011, Lisa was a member of the Steering Group at South Queensferry BID, contributing to the organization's decision-making process. Lisa took up a freelance role as a Communications Consultant in 2010 before later joining NHS 24 in 2012 as Deputy Head of Communications. NHS 24 is Scotland's national provider of telephone and digital services, and Lisa played a critical role in supporting the sustainable health service by overseeing communications efforts for a population of 5+ million.
