Carol Beckwith

Carol Beckwith is a versatile professional with extensive experience in music, health improvement, and academia. Currently serving as a Freelance Musician at Common Wheel and an Associate Lecturer and Research Assistant at the University of the West of Scotland, Carol engages in projects focused on dementia care. Carol also holds the position of Health Improvement Senior at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, contributing to initiatives related to tobacco, mental health, and participatory arts. Previous roles include serving as a Health Professional Engagement Facilitator for Cancer Research UK and as a Health Improvement Practitioner/Senior at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Educationally, Carol is pursuing an MPhil/PhD in Creative Practice/Dementia Carer Studies at the University of the West of Scotland, following a Master of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
