Baker Lubwama

Baker Lubwama is a Foundation Year 1 Doctor at NHS since August 2024, with rotations in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, Rheumatology & Gastroenterology, and Acute Care. Currently, Baker is also serving as an AI/Machine Learning Intern at Boston Children's Hospital within the Computational Health Informatics Program. Previous experiences include scholarship roles with The Black Heart Foundation and The Amos Bursary, mentoring and tutoring students in medical school applications with Future Doc, and participation in an Anaesthesiology Elective at the University of Florida. Additional internships include a Machine Learning Intern position at Spacept, a Technology Intern with Bright Network, and a role in Human Resources at Unilever. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB, BChir) from the University of Cambridge and a BA (Hons) in Pre-Clinical Medicine & Natural Sciences from the same institution.
