Chris Harrington, PhD, FRC(Path), FRSC, EuSpLM, is a Principal Clinical Scientist with over 30 years of experience in analytical science, including 15 years managing a clinical trace element service within the NHS. Currently, Chris works as a Technical Expert for UKAS while also serving as a Principal Clinical Scientist in the NHS and a visiting Senior Research Fellow at the University of Surrey. Chris has significant research and development experience, particularly in developing new biomarkers for Wilson Disease and leading various proficiency testing initiatives. Chris holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Bristol and is pursuing a Master's in Clinical Biochemistry at UCL.
