Nicky Vousden

Public Health Specialist

Nicky Vousden is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in women's health research and public health. Nicky served as an International Trial Manager for the CRADLE-3 Trial at King's College London from November 2015 to July 2018, where responsibilities included coordinating a multi-country research trial funded by MRC/DBT/DFID. Nicky also held the position of NICE Scholar at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, focusing on variation in practice in Pre-eclampsia. Currently a Clinical Lecturer at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit since May 2023, Nicky has previously held roles as a Public Health Specialist, Academic Foundation Doctor, and NIHR Academic Clinic Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the NHS from August 2013 to August 2018. Nicky is also appointed as Public Health Registrar to the Chief Medical Officer at the Department of Health and Social Care since May 2024. Nicky's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from King's College London and further education at the University of Oxford.
