David Cook

David Cook is currently serving as the Senior Director of Strategy & Planning at Nia Tero. Prior to this role, David held various positions at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, including Deputy Director and Senior Portfolio Officer in Global Policy & Advocacy. With a background in education and environmental studies, David has also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington and as an Instructor at the National Outdoor Leadership School. David's diverse experience includes managing grants, coordinating programs, conducting evaluations, and leading backcountry expeditions. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated a strong commitment to youth leadership, environmental education, and program management.
