Michael Kahana

Chair of Scientific Advisory Board and Co-Founder at Nia

Michael Kahana has worked in the field of psychology since 1994. Michael began their career at Brandeis University as an Assistant to Associate Professor of Psychology. In 2004, they moved to the University of Pennsylvania, where they were the Edmund and Louise Kahn Term Professor of Psychology. In 2018, they became the Chair of Scientific Advisory Board and Co-Founder of Nia Therapeutics.

Michael Kahana attended Case Western Reserve University from 1984 to 1989, where they earned a BA/MA. Michael then attended the University of Toronto from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Experimental Psychology. Following this, they were a NRSA Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University in Experimental Psychology.
