John Murray

John Murray is a seasoned professional in capital planning and asset management, currently serving as the Manager of Capital Planning / Asset Management for the Niagara Region since January 2024. In this role, John is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of $5 billion in assets and enhancing capital budgeting processes through a data-driven approach to infrastructure management. Prior to this position, John was the General Manager of Asset Management at PSD Citywide from March 2015 to December 2023, leading multiple teams in implementing asset management programs across North America. John's career also includes a significant tenure as the Manager of Asset Management for the City of Hamilton from October 2004 to February 2015, where John developed and executed recognized best practice asset management programs for public works. Education was completed at Sir Sandford Fleming College.
