Jorge Cruz

Jorge Cruz is an experienced electrical engineering professional with extensive expertise in power transformer design and management. Currently serving as the Electrical Engineering Manager at Niagara Power Transformer since May 2022, Jorge previously held the same title at Partner Technologies Inc. from October 2010 to April 2022, where responsibilities included designing power transformers up to 40 MVA and 138 kV, as well as quote designs. Prior to that, Jorge was an Electrical Design Engineer at Prolec GE from April 1999 to August 2010, focusing on the design of large power transformers up to 700 MVA and voltages up to 500 kV. Jorge holds an MBA in Marketing from Texas A&M International University and an engineering degree in Electric/Mechanical from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.
