Tanya Ter Keurs

Tanya ter Keurs is a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner currently serving as the Clinical Director at NiaHealth since April 2024. With a robust background in nursing, Tanya has held various roles, including Family Nurse Practitioner at Mednow Canada and Nurse Practitioner for Virtual Care at Akira Health until April 2024. Additionally, Tanya has been a Contract OSCE examiner for the College of Registered Nurses of BC since 2013 and a Contract Instructor for the MN NP Program at Athabasca University since the same year. Prior to these roles, Tanya worked as a Nurse Practitioner Locum for the Lower Similkameen Indian Band and managed primary care initiatives with the South Okanagan Similkameen Division of Family Practice. Tanya's diverse experience also includes a decade at Interior Health Authority as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and facilitation of PARE training for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Tanya holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thompson Rivers University and a Master of Nursing Nurse Practitioner from the University of Victoria.
