Cati Boulanger

Cati Boulanger is an accomplished design leader with extensive experience in user experience (UX), research, and technology development. Currently serving as the Head of Design at Niantic Spatial, Inc. since May 2025, Cati previously held positions as Senior Director UX and UX Director at Niantic, Inc., where the emphasis was on pioneering groundbreaking augmented reality experiences. With a robust background that includes roles at Google as a UX Lead, contributing to innovative projects, and serving as an expert for the European Commission in networked media and technology, Cati has demonstrated a commitment to advancing user interface design and creativity. Educational achievements include a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Media Lab and master’s degrees from both MIT and Harvard University.
