Jimmy Baird

Jimmy Baird is an experienced game designer currently serving as the Lead Game Designer at Niantic Spatial, Inc. since May 2025, and previously held the same position at Niantic, Inc. from April 2022 to May 2025. Prior to that, Baird worked at Magic Leap as Lead Game Designer, contributing to Dr. Grordbort's Invaders from March 2015 to April 2020. Baird's career began at Krome Studios, where game design expertise was developed on titles such as Ty the Tasmanian Tiger and Star Wars - The Force Unleashed from March 2003 to November 2009. Additionally, Baird designed gameplay for notable titles at PikPok, including Flick Kick Football and Robot Unicorn Attack 2, from March 2010 to March 2015.
