Kate Dodson

Kate Dodson currently serves as General Counsel at Niantic Spatial, Inc. since May 2025. Prior to this role, Kate held various positions at Niantic, Inc. from May 2019 to May 2025, including Vice President of Corporate, Commercial and M&A, as well as Senior Director of Corporate and M&A Legal. Kate's earlier experience includes an Associate role in the Corporate Group at Fenwick & West from May 2016 to May 2019, and an Associate in the Emerging Companies Group at Perkins Coie LLP from October 2012 to April 2016. Kate began legal career with internships and associate roles at Amazon, Perkins Coie LLP, and the United States Bankruptcy Court. Earlier professional experience includes positions at Whitman College, The National Bureau of Asian Research, and the Marguerite Casey Foundation. Educational credentials include a JD from the University of Washington School of Law and an AB from Mount Holyoke College.
