Ed Wu

Ed Wu is an accomplished executive in the gaming and technology industries, currently serving as SVP of Pokémon GO at Niantic, Inc. since October 2015, where leadership spans development and operations of the globally renowned game. Prior to this, Ed Wu was a staff software engineer at Google, focusing on the launch of Ingress, a groundbreaking geo-based mobile game. Ed Wu's experience also includes roles as an associate physical scientist at RAND Corporation, providing analysis for the US military, and as a graduate researcher at Stanford University, culminating in a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics. Ed Wu holds an MBA with honors from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's in International Policy Studies, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego.
