Daan Wolthuis

Daan Wolthuis is an experienced professional with a diverse background spanning various industries. Currently serving as a Founding Partner at Blue Dot eco-hostel since May 2018, Daan is dedicated to establishing an eco-friendly lodging experience in the Sierra Nevada jungle of northern Colombia. Concurrently, Daan has held the position of Manager Customer Operations at NIBC Bank since September 2017 and has been a preparator at Naturalis Biodiversity Center, contributing to palaeontological research on Triceratops fossils. Additional roles include IT Specialist at OGD ict-diensten, Product Management Specialist at ASUS, and a Sales Representative and Assistant Store Manager at Paradigit Computers. Earlier career highlights include hosting events on the Jules Verne and volunteering with stichting jeugdland. Daan holds a propedeuse degree in Bos- en Natuurbeheer from 2009 to 2011.
