Björn Borchsenius

Björn Borchsenius has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Björn is currently employed at NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research, where they have worked since 2018. Within this organization, they have held three different roles, including Senior Engineer Team Lead for Geomatics since May 2022, Senior Engineer for Geomatics from September 2018 to May 2022, and Senior Engineer for Land Inventory from February 2018 to August 2018.

Prior to their work at NIBIO, Björn was employed at PAREXEL from 2011 to 2014 as a Student/Associate Volunteers Recruiter. In 2013, they also completed an internship in the Geoinformation service at Bundeswehr Wir. Dienen. Deutschland.

Furthermore, Björn has experience as a Sonaroperator at Bundeswehr Wir. Dienen. Deutschland from 2009 to 2011.

Björn Borchsenius completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geographische Wissenschaften from Freie Universität Berlin from 2011 to 2014. Following that, they pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Geosciences from the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2015 to 2016. Lastly, they obtained another Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geoinformation und Visualisierung from the University of Potsdam, where they studied from 2014 to 2017.
