Marit Jørgensen

Marit Jørgensen has extensive work experience in research and academia. Marit started their career in 1992 as a Research Scientist at NIBIO Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research, where they held multiple roles including NIBIO and Research Scientist. From March 2011 to June 2015, they worked as a Reseacher at NIBIO. In July 2015, they took on the role of Research Scientist at NIBIO. In 2009, they also worked as an Associate Professor at the University of Tromsø from August 2009 to February 2011.

Marit Jørgensen pursued their education in the field of agronomy and crop science. Between 1990 and 1994, they attended UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. Prior to that, from 1983 to 1988, Jørgensen obtained their Master's degree in plant sciences from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
