Sarah Martin is a dedicated community advocate with extensive experience in outreach and program administration. Currently serving as a Team UP Community Advocate at A Safe Place since March 2023, Sarah also works as a Community Outreach Specialist at Nicasa Behavioral Health Services, focusing on relationship building with various community stakeholders and organizing workshops and events. Previous roles include Community Outreach Specialist at The LGBT Center of SE Wisconsin, where Sarah conducted a needs assessment survey, and Program Administrator for the Personal Responsibility Education Program. Sarah’s career in community development began at the Racine Family YMCA as the P.R.E.P. Administrator and Community Development Supervisor. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
