Michael Vinci

Michael Vinci, CSP, is an experienced professional in safety management and consulting, currently serving as the President and Founder of SPOT Safety System since 2002, where a comprehensive loss prevention and safety system has been developed for clients. In addition to this role, Vinci has been an Instructor at Nicholls State University since 2010, teaching courses related to construction safety and hazardous materials management. Previous positions include Vice President of HSE at Environmental Safety & Health Consulting Services, Inc., Director of Government Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at Cenac Towing Company, and Ground Safety Specialist for the Louisiana Air National Guard. Vinci began a career as a USCG Licensed Mate on oil platform support vessels. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in General Studies and an Associate degree in Petroleum Safety from Nicholls State University, and certification as an OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor.
