Michael Angelo Tan

Michael Angelo Tan has several years of experience in the field of geology. Michael Angelo started their career in 2011 as an Exploration Geologist at Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corp., where they worked until October 2015. In this role, they were responsible for conducting exploration activities related to mining.

In 2016, Tan joined Nickel Asia Corporation as a Geology Manager. In this position, they were in charge of managing exploration and geologic works at the Rio Tuba Nickel Mine. Michael Angelo planned and implemented short, medium, and long-term activities and programs for operational advancement and research. Additionally, they formulated the yearly budget for geology and drilling and implemented approved programs.

Michael Angelo Tan attended Mapúa University from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geology and Geological Engineering. In December 2013, they also obtained a certification as a Licensed Geologist from the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission.
