Andrew Chirnside

Andrew Chirnside is an experienced geologist with a robust background in the mining industry. Currently serving as Group Geology Manager at Genesis Minerals Limited since August 2023, Andrew previously held the position of Chief Geologist at Labyrinth Resources Limited from January 2022 to August 2023. Throughout a career that spans over 16 years, Andrew has also worked in various roles at North, including Geology Manager for Jundee, and has held multiple positions at GOLD FIELDS. Additionally, Andrew has experience with Barrick Gold Corporation, Lihir Gold Limited, and Newmont Mining Corporation, showcasing expertise as both a project and mine geologist. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Canterbury, completed between 2003 and 2006.
