Katharine Madden has held multiple positions in the food industry since 2007. Katharine began their career as an Account Executive at Weber Shandwick in 2007. In 2011, they were an Innovation Summer Intern at Sara Lee, where they crafted a business case for a new product offering in the frozen section. From 2012 to 2014, they were an Associate Brand Manager at Hillshire Brands, where they managed the Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage base business and led the development and commercialization of a new sub-brand platform launch. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Brand Manager and Associate Brand Manager at Tyson Foods, where they were responsible for building the short term innovation strategy for the breakfast sausage portfolio, managing all short term product launches, and managing the Jimmy Dean refrigerated breakfast sausage business. Since 2017, they have been the Corporate Director at NICL Laboratories.
Katharine Madden received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2012, where they studied Marketing and Finance. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in 2007, where they studied Economics and History.
