Shawna Bray

Shawna Bray is an Associate Attorney at Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP since October 2020, following experience as a Summer & Fall Associate at Shackelford, Bowen, McKinley & Norton, LLP and a Summer Associate at Nicolaides Fink Thorpe Michaelides Sullivan LLP. Shawna has also held roles such as a Business and Legal Affairs Intern at SESAC and a Law Clerk at the IP and The Arts Clinic at Vanderbilt Law School, advising clients on intellectual property matters and conducting research on trademarks. Initially involved in the music industry, Shawna served as the President of CMA EDU, significantly increasing membership, and has held various positions at Big Machine Label Group and Capstone Agency, enhancing media relations and publicity efforts. Shawna holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Vanderbilt University Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Journalism from The University of Alabama.
