Nagasubramaniam Kumarappan (PMP) has a wealth of experience in automation engineering, beginning with their role as an Automation Engineer and Engineering Trainee for TVS LUCAS in 2009. Nagasubramaniam then moved to National University of Singapore in 2011, where they worked as a Research Engineer/ Graduate Student. In the same year, they took on a role as a Manufacturing Engineer cum Intern for Caterpillar Inc., where they standardized work procedures for transmissions and engines, maintained quality of parts, designed assembly and disassembly layouts, developed an automatic system to segregate between core and remanufactured parts, and procured tools. In 2012, they joined TTJ Design and Engineering as an Automation Project Manager and Automation Lead. In 2018, they moved to Dyson, where they worked as a Senior Automation Engineer. Most recently, they have been working at Nicoya since 2021, first as a Staff NPI Manager and then as a Lead NPI.

Nagasubramaniam Kumarappan (PMP) has a comprehensive education history. Nagasubramaniam obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Anna University in 2010 after studying Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from 2006 to 2010. Nagasubramaniam then pursued a Masters in Mechatronics at the National University of Singapore from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, they became a Member of the Institute of Engineerings Singapore. In 2016, they achieved their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2018, they obtained a Managing Project with Microsoft Project certification from Microsoft. In 2019, they achieved a Methods Time Measurement II Practitoner certification from MTM and a Plant simulation certification from Siemens. In 2021, they obtained an Artificial Intelligence: How Project Managers Can Leverage AI certification from LinkedIn and an Introduction to Programming Using Python certification from the University of Waterloo.
