Sweta Kumari

Sweta Kumari is an accomplished professional in the field of fashion and design, currently serving as a Sr. Faculty at FDDI since July 2024, following a role as a Guest Faculty at the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi. Sweta has extensive teaching experience from institutions like Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, specializing in subjects such as Design Thinking and UI/UX. Previous positions include Head of the Department for Leather Goods & Accessories Design at FDDI, where Sweta coordinated training across multiple centers, and roles in design and consultancy across various companies, including working with international brands like Zara and Mango. Sweta holds a Post Graduate degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi, a Diploma in Fashion Styling from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and is pursuing a PhD in Fashion/Apparel Design from Amity University, along with an Executive MBA in Retail Management.
