Wathsal K. possesses extensive experience in engineering, particularly in hydraulics and advanced engineering, currently serving as Chief Engineer for Hydraulics and Advanced Engineering at Niftylift Ltd since August 2017. Wathsal previously held significant roles at JCB, including Engineering Manager for JCB Access and Principal Engineer for Hydraulic Systems in JCB Heavy Products, contributing to product development and system architecture design. Prior positions include Senior Engineer and Development Engineer at Niftylift Ltd, where Wathsal led hydraulic control systems design, and earlier roles as an instructor at the University of Moratuwa and a trainee engineer at Sri Lanka Railway. Wathsal holds a PGC TM in Technology Management from The Open University and a BSc. Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
