Leon Fung

Leon Fung is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the dairy and nutrition sectors. Currently serving as Director on the Board of Synlait Milk Limited since June 2024, Leon also holds the position of CEO at NIG Nutritionals Limited since March 2022, where expertise in infant formula and nutritional products is leveraged. Previous roles include Board Director and Advisor at Maui Milk, Operations Director at Danone, and General Manager positions at both Pokeno Nutritional Park Ltd and Winston Nutritional Ltd. Leon has a strong foundation in project management and business development, demonstrated through significant projects such as the $230 million greenfield project at Yashili NZ Dairy Company. Educational credentials include a Master of Dairy Technology from Massey University and an EMBA from Fudan University.
