Basil Okoye

Basil Okoye is a seasoned professional in the communications sector, currently serving as an Assistant Director at the Nigerian Communications Commission since January 2024. Previously, Basil held the position of Manager, Corporate Services at the Universal Service Provision Fund from May 2002 to January 2020, overseeing Governance and Special Needs initiatives while coordinating the e-governance project. Early career experience includes working as a Communications Officer for the Local Organising Committee during Nigeria '99.
