Akande David

Akande David, FMLSCN FISLT BTH, is an experienced Chief Medical Laboratory Scientist at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR), serving since February 1997. Formerly held the position of Medical Laboratory Scientist at NIMR for a brief period in the same month. Educational qualifications include a Fellow Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria degree in Medical Parasitology obtained from Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital from September 2010 to May 2014, an Associate Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology degree in Medical Parasitology from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (September 1998 - May 2000), and a Higher National Diploma in Microbiology/Virology from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (September 1991 - February 1994).
