Aisha Rimi

Aisha Rimi is an accomplished legal professional and the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission since October 2023. Rimi serves as a Partner at Africa Law Practice (ALP) since 2017, offering expertise in Corporate, Commercial, and Private Client law, including foreign investment, regulatory compliance, project finance, and estate planning. Prior experience includes a partnership at Rimi & Partners from 2007 to 2017, a Senior Vice President role at GWI Consulting from 2002 to 2007, and a Visiting Attorney position at Chadbourne & Parke LLP in 2001. Rimi began a decade-long partnership at Ajumogobia & Okeke in 1991. Academically, Rimi holds a postgraduate degree in Organizational Leadership from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, along with a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Laws, both in International Commercial Law from the University of Buckingham.
