Tom Calzolari, M.D., has over 20 years of experience working in the healthcare industry in multiple sectors. He started practicing in internal medicine and soon took an interest in the diagnostics side with a focus on patient care. Trained as a physician, his extensive knowledge drives sales and management with an emphasis in laboratory diagnostics, capital equipment, endocrinology, infectious diseases, oncology and rare diseases. He has a successful track record exceeding sales quotas in highly competitive healthcare markets including physician and hospital sales, clinical diagnostics, multiple disease states, multi-stakeholder sales and physician thought leader engagement. Tom has in-depth experience working with national accounts, government facilities, academic institutions, R&D, distributors and payors. Prior to joining NIH Research & Consulting, Tom worked closely with clinical and key thought leaders to develop better ways to deliver and manage patient care. He is a dynamic and creative team player driven by a strategic solutions-oriented approach to in-depth client interaction, collaboration and satisfaction while delivering uncompromising corporate success.
