Carlos P. Hornstein

Carlos P. Hornstein has over 25 years of experience in the corporate world. In 1993, they began their career as Sales Director at Siemens Power Generation. In 1998, they were promoted to Regional Director at Siemens Energy, where they were responsible for the sales of new unit power plants and long term service agreements in six countries. In 2005, they moved to Lutron Electronics as Director of Business Development Europe and was responsible for launching and selling a new product line in the European market. In 2006, they founded and became President of Fundación Global Play. In 2008, they became the Head of US Executive Education at IESE Business School where they executed a change management project resulting in a 30% revenue growth in just 12 months. In 2009, they co-founded Global Impact Consulting S.L. and implemented three projects involving the construction of public facilities in Africa. In 2014, they became Managing Director at The Wharton School, where they were responsible for the business development, marketing and communications, global partnerships, and client relations teams. In 2017, they became Associate Dean of Executive Education at London Business School. In 2018, they became General Manager at Grupo Planeta and Co-Founder & CEO of niikiis, an innovative HRTech start-up focused in helping professionals more effectively share knowledge across an organization.

Carlos P. Hornstein obtained a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 1992. Carlos P. then went on to earn an MBA in Global Management & Leadership from Emory University in 2005. In 2009 and 2010, they obtained a Certificate from the University of Geneva in CSR. In 2014, they earned a Certificate from Harvard Business School in Building Businesses in Emerging Markets. Lastly, in 2016, they earned a Certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Leading Change and Organizational Renewal.
