Benzamin Yi

Benzamin Yi is a highly experienced professional in data visualization and design with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the Lead Visualization Development Manager at Nike since January 2020, Benzamin has held various roles at the company, including Director of Data Visualization & Prototype Design and Sr. Visualization Developer. In addition to this position, Benzamin is an Adjunct Lecturer at Parsons School of Design, teaching Data Visualization 101 and authoring the course. As a freelance consultant since June 2015, Benzamin has provided design and data visualization services to notable clients such as Unilever, Boeing, and Wells Fargo. Previous experience includes working as a UI/UX Designer for NBCUniversal Media, a Communications Associate at The Democracy Collaborative, and various roles at Earth Day Network and UC Irvine Campus Recreation. Benzamin holds a Master of Science in Data Visualization from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts from UC Irvine, specializing in Philosophy, Political Science, and Environmental Analysis & Design.
