Koki Asahina

Koki Asahina is a skilled Footwear Materials Developer II specializing in men's basketball at Nike since February 2025. Prior to this role, Koki worked as a Team Sports Innovation Engineer at Wilson Sporting Goods Co., where contributions included the development of the next generation Wilson Airless Basketball. Additional experience includes serving as a Racquet Sports Advanced Innovation Engineer, employing skills in Python and Arduino. Koki was also an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Georgia Tech Research, leading research on stroke rehabilitation techniques using Vagus Nerve Stimulation in collaboration with 4D Motion Sports Co. An engineering internship at Caterpillar Inc. further enhanced Koki's technical expertise. Koki holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering and a minor in Physiology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completed in May 2024.
