Matt Paton has extensive experience in merchandising and planning, having held various senior roles across notable companies. At L'Estrange London and Olivia Burton, Matt contributed as a Freelance Merchandising Consultant. As the Head of Planning at Best & Less, Matt led a team of 35 professionals, executing growth strategies that aligned with the company's financial targets. At New Look, Matt served as Head of Merchandising and previously as Head of Trade Planning for Central Europe's Homewares Division at Tesco Stores Ltd. Matt's career at Tesco began with a role as Merchandise Planning Manager, progressing from trainee level through various departments. Currently, since March 2020, Matt acts as Merchandise and Operations Manager for Nike, focusing on the partnership with Chelsea FC and overseeing the merchandising strategy for Nike and club-branded items. Matt holds a BSc Hons in Business Studies from the University of Hertfordshire.
