Megan Lawrence

Megan Lawrence, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Director of Accessibility and Disability Inclusion at Nike, a role held since December 2021. Prior to this position, Megan held various influential roles at Microsoft from August 2016 to November 2022, including Director of Accessibility Evangelism & Intersectionality, where expertise was leveraged to close the digital divide and establish a disability intersectionality strategy. Additional experience includes positions as a Senior Research Associate at Cognito, an Accessibility Consultant and founder of AccessGeo, a Sponsored Principal Investigator at the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute, and postdoctoral research fellowship at the same institute. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Geography from the University of Oregon, where Megan also completed a Master’s degree. A Bachelor of Arts in Geography was earned from California State University, Chico.
