Richard Powell

Richard Powell is an accomplished software engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology and gaming industries. Currently serving as Sr. Director at Nike since August 2014, Richard has played a pivotal role in engineering consumer-facing commerce APIs and operational tools, implementing an API-first approach to enhance digital platforms. Prior to Nike, Richard held several key positions at IGT, leading a global engineering team focused on casino gaming technologies, and at Progressive Gaming International, where Richard was instrumental in the development of server-based gaming systems. Additionally, Richard co-founded Brick House Trading Co., overseeing game development and player community management. Richard holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UCLA.
