J. Brian Leen

J. Brian Leen has a diverse and extensive work experience. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as an Optical Engineer at Picarro, Inc. From 2004 to 2010, they served as a Consultant at Los Gatos Research, A Member of the ABB Group, where they later became a Senior Physicist from 2010 to 2014. Subsequently, they held the position of Principal Scientist from 2014 to 2015 and was later promoted to the role of Director of Research from 2015 to 2016. J. Brian then joined ABB in 2016 and worked as a Local CTO until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they decided to take a break from professional work and explore personal projects and travel opportunities. In 2022, they joined Nikira Labs as the Director of Research.

J. Brian Leen completed their education at Stanford University from 2003 to 2010, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Physics. Before that, they attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1999 to 2001, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics.
