Samantha then transitioned into journalism, working as a Freelance Reporter for Miami SunPost and South Florida News Service. Samantha pitched and wrote articles on a variety of topics, including local politics, restaurants, nightlife, and community stories. Samantha's work was published in prominent newspapers such as The Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald, The Palm Beach Post, and The Sun Sentinel.
Samantha S. began their education in 2003 at Miami Dade College, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Mass Communications/Media Studies. Samantha then attended Florida International University from 2006 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government. In November 2016, Samantha obtained certification as a Certified Food Safety Manager from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP). Additionally, in October 2012, they became a Certified Crowd Manager through the National Association of State Fire Marshals.
