Nima Zamani

Nima Zamani, PhD, is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in multi-physics simulation and analysis. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Nikola Motor Company, Nima oversees 1D thermo-fluid modeling for pneumatic and braking systems used in battery-electric and fuel cell semi-trucks, and has successfully led compliance testing and optimization initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University, focusing on the design and optimization of novel mechanisms for energy conversion, and a stint at Volvo Trucks, where Nima contributed to the development of CFD models for diesel engines. Nima holds a PhD and multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in fluid dynamics.
